SOWK 338: Working with Persons with HIV and AIDS

This course aims at introducing the subject of people living with HIV and AIDS, care and support. It creates aware of the needs of persons living with HIV and AIDS, the consequences of HIV infection and helps students develop sensitivity to their situation. Additionally, it enables students become aware of discrimination and stigmatisation faced by the people living with HIV and AIDS. The course explores different ways of helping PLWHAs.
