The University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) has presented 6,000 reusable nose masks and 10 veronica buckets to the University to complement its effort at fighting COVID-19.
In a letter announcing the donation, Dr. Kwame Anim-Boamah, Director of Medical Affairs at UGMC indicated that he was hopeful the donation will go a long way to curtail potential spread of the virus within the University community.
Receiving the items on behalf of the University, Mr. Charles Kofinti, Director, Physical Development and Municipal Services Directorate expressed gratitude to UGMC for the kind gesture indicating that this will greatly support Management’s effort at combating the novel coronavirus.
