University Calls on Family of Ambassador James Aggrey-Orleans

A delegation from the University, led by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Kwame Offei, has called on the family of the late Ambassador James Aggrey-Orleans to commiserate with them.

Ambassador James Aggrey-Orleans, an alumnus of the University, and until his death, a member of the Alumni Council, was a dedicated member of the University of Ghana Alumni Association.  He was instrumental in the development of a vibrant Alumni Association and played significant roles in the various capacities he held while serving the Alumni Association.

Ambassador Aggrey-Orleans will be laid to rest after a Church Service to take place at the Ridge Church on the morning of Friday, December 21, 2018 after which mourners will retire to the Accra International Conference Centre.

Other members of the delegation were the Registrar, Mrs. Mercy Haizel-Ashia, Prof. Michael Tagoe, Acting Provost, College of Education, Mrs. Stella A. Amoa, Director of Public Affairs, Mrs. Bernice Tamaklo, Senior Assistant Registrar, Academic Affairs, Mr. Emmanuel Godwyll, Assistant Registrar, School of Biological and Mathematical Sciences, Mrs. Barbara Blankson, Office of the Registrar and Mrs. Rhodarlyn Neequaye, Assistant Registrar, IAST.
