The Student Financial Aid Office has received a cheque of GH¢10,000 from HFC Bank to support needy and brilliant students at the University of Ghana.

At a presentation ceremony, held at the HFC Bank Ridge Headquarters, Mr. Robert Le Hunte, Managing Director of HFC Bank, expressed the bank’s desire to fulfil their commitment to the University of Ghana and to touch the lives of the less fortunate in the society.  He said, his Bank’s objective in doing so was not just about making funds available, but more importantly, the impact the partnership was creating.  He urged the Students Financial Aid Office to continue doing what they do best by ensuring financial need is not a barrier to equal access to quality education for brilliant and needy students.  He said HFC Bank is proud to partner with the University in this regard as part of its corporate social responsibility. In his closing remarks, Mr. Le Hunte said that even though the Bank was not at its financial best, he was hopeful that when things improve, there would be a corresponding improvement in the level of HFC Bank’s donation.
