Registrar Receives Delegation from CEGENSA

A delegation from the Centre for Gender Studies and Advocacy (CEGENSA) on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, paid a courtesy call on the Registrar, Mrs. Emelia Agyei-Mensah. Their visit was to introduce the Centre’s new Director and solicit the needed support to enhance CEGENSA's mandate.

Welcoming the team, the Registrar extended her appreciation for the visit and assured the delegation of her commitment and willingness to champion the work of the Centre.

The delegation presented some of the Centre’s publication to the Registrar after which Prof. Charlotte Wringley Asante, the former Director, introduced Dr. Deborah Attobrah, the current Director to the Registrar.

Present at the meeting were affiliates of CEGENSA who were made up of Prof. Awo Mana Asiedu, Prof. Esther Sakyi-Dawson, Prof. Lydia Aziato and Ms. Ama Pinkrah.

Other officials present were Mr. Edward Gborgbo, Principal Research Assistant, CEGENSA; Mr. Daniel Abusuampeh, Graduate Teaching Assistant, CEGENSA; and Mrs. Elfreda Bansah, Chief Administrative Assistant, CEGENSA.
