Prof. Julius Fobil and Colleague Researchers Awarded US$3 Million Grant

Prof. Julius Fobil, Head of the Department of Biological Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences of the School of Public Health, and colleague Researchers from the University of Michigan School of Public Health and McGill University have been awarded a US$3 Million Grant.

The grant is for the implementation of a project titled “1/2-The West Africa-Michigan CHARTER II for GEOHealth-Ghana”. Through this project Prof. Fobil together with Prof. Thomas G. Robins, University of Michigan School of Public Health and Prof. Niladri Basu, McGill University will seek to sustainably enhance capacity for world-class scientific research and research training which address and inform key national and regional occupational and environmental health priorities and policies.
