Prof. Chris Gordon, Former Director of Institute for Environment and Sanitation Studies (IESS), has been elected member of the Multidisciplinary Expert Panel of the Plenary of the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) at its ninth session in Bonn, Germany.
The IPBES is an international organisation committed to strengthening the role of science in public decision-making on biodiversity and ecosystem services and the Multidisciplinary Expert Panel is the high-level technical committee which provides oversight on IPBES.
