As part of efforts to fight COVID-19, Citi TV in partnership with Zoomlion Ghana Limited has undertaken a disinfection exercise on Legon campus. Mr. Samuel Attah-Mensah, Managing Director of Citi FM and Citi TV, explained that the gesture was in response to the President’s call on all and sundry to support the fight against the pandemic, which has claimed over 87,000 lives globally in 205 countries with more than 1.4 million cases. (As at April 11, 2020)

According to Mr. Robert Coleman, Communications Manager of Zoomlion Ghana Limited, the objective of the exercise is to keep the campuses safe and clean for use when academic work resumes after the presidential directive to close down schools as a measure to contain and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
