The Centre for European Studies has donated a laptop to the Public Affairs Directorate of the University of Ghana (UG).  The donation took place at a short ceremony held at the Public Affairs Directorate of the University of Ghana.  The Director of the Centre for European Studies (CES), Professor Ransford Gyampo, who made the presentation, commended the Public Affairs Directorate for its role and immense support for the work of CES.

According to Professor Gyampo, CES by this gesture hopes to deepen ties and relationship with the UG Public Affairs Directorate, as well as contribute to its work and activities. He used the opportunity to call on UG faculty members to fully participate in the lecture series and other activities of the Centre in the year 2017.

Mrs. Stella A. Amoa, Director of Public Affairs, who received the donation, thanked the Centre for European Studies for the kind assistance and promised that the laptop would be put to good use.  She applauded the Centre for the good work it is doing since the establishment of the Centre.  She noted that the ambitious targets the Centre has set for itself will no doubt contribute to making the University of Ghana “A GO TO UNIVERSITY”.   She commended the Director of the Centre for his relentless efforts in making the Centre visible and vibrant in promoting European Studies among faculty and students of the University of Ghana, as well as outside the University.
