Angel Data and Telecomm Services Donates Drones to UG

The Management of Angel Data and Telecom Services (ADTS) has donated two drones to the University of Ghana to enhance the University’s security at the main campus.

Receiving the drones on behalf of the University of Ghana, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, expressed immense gratitude to the Management of ADTS for their generosity. She noted that the donation is a clear indication that both institutions are ready to continue the existing relationship.

While acknowledging that the drones have come to give a new phase to the University’s security services, Prof. Amfo indicated that enhancing security in recent times also requires a technological approach. “There is a lot we have to do to bring the whole security up to speed to meet current trends of security issues,” Prof. Amfo said. She was hopeful that in no time, she would receive viable proposals from the University’s Security Services Unit to help augment security on campus.
