On Friday, September 3, 2021, the Management of Akuafo Hall received a donation of 150 pieces of furniture comprising chairs and desks, from the Agriculture Development Bank (ADB). The donation is expected to ameliorate the shortfall of students’ furniture.

Introducing the purpose of the gathering, Dr. Gladys Ansah, Senior Hall Tutor, recounted that Management of the Hall took advantage of the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic to assess students’ needs in 2020, when the University was non-operational. The Hall Management wrote to some corporate entities to solicit donation, and ADB, as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility, responded favorably.
