10 UG Students Awarded Gold Fields Foundation Scholarship

Beneficiaries with SFAO Staff and Goldfields Foundation Executive Secretary

Gold Fields Ghana Foundation has awarded ten (10) University of Ghana students with a comprehensive scholarship for the 2022/2023 academic year.  

Award letters were presented to the new beneficiaries at a ceremony held at Gold Fields Ghana in Tarkwa. The Scholarship covers tuition and residential fees, as well as stipend and book allowance. Other tertiary institutions that were awarded include University of Cape Coast, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, University of Health and Allied Sciences, among others. 

Mr. Abdel-Razak Yakubu, the Executive Secretary of the Foundation advised the new beneficiaries to exhibit socially acceptable behaviour at all times, study hard and be good ambassadors of the Foundation.
