Efobi Uchenna

.

Efobi Uchenna is a faculty of the College of Business and Social Sciences, Covenant University, Nigeria. He is also a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy and Development Research - Covenant University. He completed his PhD in 2017, with a research focus on International capital flow and financial regulations in Africa. His current research interest is in the field of development economics, and sustainable development, and the emphasis is on Africa. He conducts evidence-based research, and relies on methods that address causality – including instrumental variable technique, diff-in-diff, and matching.
While at MIASA, I will be working on “Foreign Land Agricultural Investment and Intra-Household Labor Allocation in Rural Nigeria and Tanzania”. The intended method for the analysis is Diff-in-Diff, and an instrumental variable technique. I am opened to collaborations with other group members, especially considering that we will be having an overlapping research interest. I intend completing the paper during my stay at MIASA and send it to a reputable Journal (such as Land Use Policy, World Development, or Land Economics).
