EMFA 604: Organisational Behaviour and Strategic Leadership

This course will examine individual, group, and organizational levels of behavior, concepts and practices of organizational behavior, the interrelationship of behavioral phenomena among these levels. The course will also focus on strategic leaders as individuals, the importance of strategic leadership skills and personal characteristics that make leaders effective, and the influences on leaders’ abilities to make effective strategic decisions. Strategic leadership through top management teams will be emphasized with a review of knowing how top management teams can influence their organizations and the factors associated with executive succession.
