The purpose of this course is to expose students to the various technologies aimed at sustainable aquaculture development. The topics to be treated include but not limited to seed production facilities and seed safety; Analysis of environmental impacts of aquaculture; ameliorating measures; Sustainable growth and expansion of aquaculture: an ecosystem approach; Environmental Impact processes in aquaculture establishment; Water quality management and treatment.
