ABCS 101: Introductory Animal Biology

This course covers the major phyla of the invertebrates. It explores the diverse characteristics and differences in physiology and life cycles among invertebrate. Features which enable us to classify these groups of animals are emphasized. The distribution and rich variety of ways in which living organisms cope with the problems of survival and reproduction in diverse environments are also discussed. Practical sessions are tailored to throw more light on the theoretical information.
