Students will be required to participate in departmental seminars, School of Languages Seminar series, as well as the conferences and workshops organised by credible national and regional associations such as the Linguistics Association of Ghana (LAG) and the West African Linguistics Society (WALS). By engaging in these activities, students will come into contact with experienced practitioners in the field who can serve as mentors/collaborators. The students will be mandated to write and present papers at these conferences individually, in teams or in collaboration with senior members in the Department.
