I wish to welcome all of you to the new academic year! We are thrilled to be partnering with you as you participate in an exciting educational journey of discovery. I would like to extend a warm welcome as you begin what promises to be an exciting and memorable year. 

Given the current circumstances of covid-19 pandemic, the department will work together to maintain healthy and safety standards, while sustaining the academic excellence and personalized attention that is synonymous with the department of Information Studies. 

You have chosen a great time to be a student of University of Ghana, Department of Information Studies. You will be working with a world-class faculty dedicated to helping you get the best of university education. You are entering the gateway to a global education that will prepare you to succeed in an increasingly competitive international marketplace. Indeed, you are among a generation studying to acquire world class knowledge. You are meeting the people who will become your lifelong friends and mentors.
