Dr. Henry Ofosuhene Sintim 
Dr. Henry Ofosuhene Sintim is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Applied Science and Technology, University of Ghana. He holds a BSc in Agriculture from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, MPhil in Entomology from the University of Ghana, PhD in Advanced Bioresources Science (Research in Phyto-toxicology) from the Chiba University, Japan and Postdoctoral Scholar from the North Carolina A&T State University, USA.Before joining the University of Ghana in 2018, Dr. Sintim was a senior lecturer at Sunyani Technical University. He taught entomology, invertebrate pest management, crop production and biochemistry. His focus included reduced risk pest management, biorational management of urban and field pests, farming systems in sesame, crucifiers and tomato. He was also a Research Associate at the North Carolina A&T State University, USA where he researched into integrated pest management, wrote grant proposals and research publications, supervised graduate students research and taught laboratory and field aspects of graduate course in IPM. 

 

Mr. Bright Kwaku Avuglah (Assistant Registrar) 

Mr Bright Kwaku Avuglah is currently the Assistant Registrar and Administrator of the Institute of Applied Science and Technology (IAST). He is an Information Specialist by training and holds a  postgraduate degree in Information Technology from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Before joining IAST, Mr Avuglah worked at the School of Law and School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Ghana, where he provided research and scholarly communications support for the last ten years. In addition, Mr Avuglah is a researcher and has published several scholarly articles and book chapters in the field of Information Science. Mr Avuglah has extensive experience in higher education management and information resource management and hopes to improve administrative processes at the Institute through effective records management, training and research.
