Dr Nana Yaw Boampong Sapong of the Department of History served on the Planning Committee of the Supreme Court of Ghana's 150th anniversary.

The Supreme Court of Ghana is the apex court according to Ghana's current constitution. Since 1876, it has often deliberated and decided on cases which have defined the legal landscape and the rule of law in Ghana. This sesquicentennial anniversary is a paean to honour the past of the court, celebrate its present and define its future.
