· Do I need my Hospital Card for every visit?

Yes, the Hospital Card has a unique number which is used to retrieve your 

records, therefore, you need to bring it for every visit. If you are a University of Ghana    Student, please come along with your student I.D. as well.

 

· Will I see the same doctor each time I visit the hospital?

No, that is not likely. The doctors are scheduled, and it is not likely your next visit will    coincide with the doctor’s schedule. 

· How can I see a specialist?

To see a particular specialist, you must first see a General Practitioner who will refer       you to the Specialist. 

With the referral note, you will be given an appointment to see the Specialist on the Clinic Day. 

· When does the Hospital close?

The Hospital operates a 24/7 OPD and Emergency care services.

 

· Is the Hospital a government hospital?

Yes. The hospital is a quasi-government health institution 

· Do you accept National Health Insurance (NHIS)?

No, we do not accept National Health Insurance. We, however, accept some private         health insurance.

· Do you perform circumcision procedures at the Hospital?

Yes, circumcision is done at the Hospital.

· Do you have Dental Unit?

Yes.

· Do you have ENT Specialists?

Yes, we have an ENT clinic run by a specialist every Tuesdays from 8am - 2pm.

· Do you provide yellow fever vaccine services?

No. We do not have yellow fever vaccine. However, we do regular childhood      

immunization and Hepatitis B vaccines. 

· Do you test for COVID-19 and administer the Vaccines?

Yes, we do Covid-19 test and administer Covid-19 vaccines.
