About The Graduate Students' Association of Ghana, Legon
The Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana (GRASAG)-Legon is the official mouthpiece of all students pursuing graduate programs (Masters and PhD) at the University of Ghana, Legon. With a numerical strength of about four thousand (4,000), with over ten thousand (10,000) database of past students, from across the College of Humanities, College of Basic and Applied Sciences, College of Health Sciences and the College of Education, the Association is one of the most vibrant and effective human resource hubs for the country’s socio-economic development.
We are an association that seeks to improve the academic, social and general welfare of all students pursuing post-graduate programmes in the University of Ghana, Legon.
We also champion the course of members in fighting for their rights and privileges as laws of Ghana or the statutes establishing the University of Ghana may dictate.
The leadership of the association provides means of communication between graduate students and University of Ghana, Legon, authorities in all matters affecting graduate students as whole or any part thereof.
We further coordinate with other student associations and unions in the University of Ghana and elsewhere in matters of mutual interest as well as organizing lectures, symposia, debates, meetings and any other activity which shall be deemed in the interest of members of GRASAG – LEGON.
