DONATION OF TRIMBLE CATALYST TO THE DEPARTMENT OF GEOGRAPHY AND RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT

On 17th November, 2020, the management of Sambus Geospatial Limited presented a Trimble Catalyst device to the Department

of Geography and Resource Development to aid the operations of the GIS Lab. Present at the ceremony were Messers John Lamptey

and Victor Ankobea, Heads Business Development and Sales of Sambus Geospatial Limited respectively. Also present were some

members of Faculty including Dr. Alex B. Owusu, the Coordinator of the GIS MIS programme, Dr. Kwabena A. Gyekye and Dr. Isaac

Arthur, all Senior Lecturers of the department. Presenting the device, Mr. Lamptey noted that the gesture was to cement the cordial

and bilateral relationship existing between Sambus and the department. Prof. Martin Oteng-Ababio, the Head of Department, who

received the device thanked the company for their invaluable assistance and promised to take good care of the device. He further

pleaded with other cooperate entities and organizations to emulate the shining example of Sambus Geospatial Limited.
