Research Focus: The socio-economic potential of agroforestry as an alternative livelihood strategy for cocoa farmers in Ghana.
This research uses cost-benefit models to assess how profitable cocoa agroforestry systems are as climate-smart cocoa models for smallholder farming households in Ghana. This research is part of the DANIDA-funded CLIMCOCOA project at the University of Ghana.
