Luke Saanyugr Liebzie

Mr. Liebzie is a Tutor at the Department of French. After completing his Bachelor's degree in French and Psychology at the University of Ghana, he went on to obtain a degree of Master of Arts in Translation at the same university. He is a member of the Editorial Committee of the Contemporary Journal of African Studies (CJAS), Institute of African Studies, University of Ghana and Head of Ghana Chapter of the International Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (IAPTI) based in Argentina. Luke is still a translator and has worked previously as Translator and Executive Secretary to Hanisa Group, Accra. As Freelance Translator, he worked for individuals and organizations such as Alliance Française Accra, Centre for Media Analysis, Accra, North Carolina State University, USA, Samsung Electronics East Africa, Nairobi and Samsung Electronics West Africa, Accra. Luke is currently the Manager of the Transbureau at the University of Ghana and has worked on such documents as medical reports, research reports, academic transcripts, certificates and letters, authorization notes, bank statements, court decisions and audit reports. His interests include Translation Technologies, Translation Project Management, Technical Translation, Literary Translation, Editing and Interpretation.
