SENG 107: Introduction to Engineering

Objectives: This course includes lectures, seminars, and activities to introduce engineering students to various engineering practices, historical developments in various field of engineering and current industrial practices delivered by researchers on campus and practicing engineers.
Description: The course will introduce students to emerging technologies and trends, engineering ethics, engineering communication tools, and metrology. Also, students will be introduced to and be able to apply the principles of the engineering design process to a case study or project. Moreover, students shall be provided with group advisement regarding specific fields of engineering.
