The Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO) is accepting applications for the award of the 2024/2025 TOYOTA GHANA SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING SCIENCES SCHOLARSHIP AWARD (TG-SESSA) from UG undergraduate students in the School of Engineering Sciences.
The DEADLINE for the submission of applications for the above-mentioned scholarship is Friday, 23rd August, 2024.
This Scholarship would cover academic fees only.
You are eligible to apply if you:
- Are a Ghanaian Student.
- Obtained a CGPA of at least 2.75 (Level 100) or 3.0 (Levels 200 and 300).
- Can demonstrate limited family income and/or insufficient funds to cover educational related expenses.
- Have the will to succeed (determination, perseverance and success in other pursuits).
- Are of a Good Conduct

HOW TO APPLY
- You are required to visit the UG website: https://www.ug.edu.gh/financialaid
- Click on: Scholarships/ TG-SESSA Scholarship
- Read the eligibility criteria then download and complete TG-SESSA FORM A with the required essays, a copy of your academic records (UG transcript), letters of recommendation and Admission, and other supporting need documents.
- In addition, applicants are required to SUBMIT the completed application forms to the Students Financial Aid Office on or before the deadline, Friday 23rd August, 2024.

SUPPORTING NEED DOCUMENTS
The following are EXAMPLES of documents that can be used to support applications:
- Official pay slip or payroll record of parents/guardians or the applicant.
- Recent school receipts/ bills of siblings of school going age.
- Tax return receipts– IRS, VAT, tabletop hawking receipts, etc.
- Birth Certificates (of siblings).
- Death Certificate or Burial permit (in case of death of a parent).
- Pension letter for retired parents/guardians.
- Bank Statements/Ghana Cocoa Board Farmers Association Passbook.
- SSNIT contribution statements.
- Money transfer receipts.
- National Health Insurance receipts (showing premium paid).
- Evidence of other dependents of parents/guardians.
- Any other supporting documents that you believe will assist in the processing of your application.
