Research interest
General research interest focuses on family and child development. Specific interests include: Human development across the life span (Preschool to aged); parenting role in cognitive, social, emotional and spiritual development of children; understanding childhood learning environment and developmentally appropriate learning materials, researching learning needs of children with special needs in specific cultural settings. Also, family health and care including HIV/AIDS care at home and management of family resources. Other areas include child and family welfare perspectives and policy decision-making; Women empowerment and entrepreneurial skills in relation to family and child welfare.
