Title: Work-family conflict and job satisfaction of bank employees in Ghana.
Purpose: The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of work-family conflict on the job satisfaction of bank employees in four local banks in Ghana and to find out the moderating effect of coping strategies and work support on work-family conflict and job satisfaction.
Goals:
1. To determine the antecedents of work-family conflict in the banking industry in Ghana.
2. To find out the relationship between work-family conflict and employee job satisfaction.
3. To investigate workplace support and coping as moderators of work-family conflict and employee job satisfaction in the banking industry.
This is a two-year project and will include activities such as data collection from four local banks including Agricultural Development Bank, Universal Merchant Bank, Ghana Commercial bank, and First National Bank.
