Research Interest
Dora Appiadu employs a multi-disciplinary approach to explore variables & models needed to enhance the well-being and satisfaction of apparel consumers, and to improve the operations of the Textiles & Apparel Industry. My special areas of interest include sustainable fashion business practices/management, social psychology of clothing, appearance management behaviours & apparel consumer behaviour within diverse context (i.e. historical, cultural, psycho-social, and economic.)
Current Research
My current research project is to develop indicators or a framework for assessing sustainable textile consumption in Ghana using a multi-design approach.
