PROFILE

Prof. Larry Pax Chegbeleh, is Associate Professor at the Department of Earth Science, University of Ghana. He holds a PhD in Earth Science & Environmental Engineering (Water Resources Engineering option) from the Graduate School of Environmental Science/Geo-environmental Evaluation Laboratory (GEL), Okayama University, Japan. His research interests/areas include:

Water resources development and management Geo-environmental hazards and risks assessment/protection Ground improvement techniques and slope stability analysis Groundwater flow and transport modelling/Climate change scenarios Engineered barrier system/cut-off walls construction for seepage control Contaminant transport and remediation in groundwater system.

Besides teaching and research experiences, and field implementation programmes, Prof. Chegbeleh employs his expertise in diverse ways by providing consultancy services to the public in the research areas mentioned above.
