COMS 622: NEW INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES

This course is designed to equip students with knowledge about new information and communication technologies. It will examine the technologies and applications of multimedia systems including production, presentation, and transmission of video, voice, data within organizations, nationally and cross-border transmissions. The political, social and economic implications and/or impact of these technologies on human development and work of communication practitioners will be discussed.
