COMS 610: ADVANCED PUBLIC RELATIONS

This course examines Public Relations as it is practised in organisations, its structure, and calibre of personnel, duties of practitioners, chain of command, and the need for research in Public Relations. It also looks at ethics, codes of professional conduct and conditions under which PR practitioners are expected to perform their duties. During laboratory sessions, students are required to put what they learn into practice.
