ON THE PASSING OF THE MEXICAN AMBASSADOR TO GHANA

We at the Centre for Latin American Studies at UG, are deeply saddened to hear of Ambassador Enrique Escorza’s passing. He was an amazing person and we cannot imagine the pain and sense of loss his family and everyone who met him are feeling right now. Words are inadequate to describe the impact he had and the legacy he left us at CLAS and the UG. He encarnated true humanity. We have lost a dear friend, an incredible life. But he created such beautiful memories that although we are grieving, we can truly celebrate his life and what he meant to us. He will be cherished in our hearts forever. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
