LASA/AFRICA 2023 CONGRESS: A CALL FOR DIALOGUE AND CONNECTIONS.

The Latin American Studies Association (LASA) in collaboration with the Centre for Latin American Studies, University of Ghana (CLAS, UG) are hosting their first Continental Congress in Africa, to be held in Accra, Ghana from November 15-18, 2023. The theme of the Congress is "África y América Latina: Diálogos y Conexiones" (Africa and Latin America: Dialogues and Connections). The Congress will provide an opportunity for scholars, researchers, and students from Africa and Latin America to come together to discuss and debate a wide range of topics related to the two regions. The deadline to submit proposals for papers and panels is July 17, 2023. We encourage you to join us in Accra for this important and timely event. The Congress will provide a unique opportunity to discuss and debate the future of Africa and Latin America in a global context.
