Call for Abstracts: 6th Annual International Research Conference

Theme: Ageing and Care in a Contemporary Global Society

Population ageing is an undeniable phenomenon in all geographical territories, including Ghana. While this phenomenon could be considered as an achievement made in preserving human life for a long period, old age is also associated with functional impairment, disability and frailty, that would necessitate some form of care in order to maintain an appreciable living standard. Consequently there is the need for research to be conducted to understand issues related to ageing and care in this modern world. Our 6th  Annual International Research Conference will provide an avenue for scholars, graduate students, practitioners, policy actors and other key stakeholders to deliberate and share evidence-based research and ideas to facilitate understanding of this theme, as well as solicit recommendations that would be useful in addressing issues surrounding ageing and care in a contemporary world.
