BMEN 701: Advanced Regenerative Engineering

This course would introduce the detailed concepts of scaffolds in Regenerative Engineering.  The criteria for using different scaffolds in a variety of application areas would be discussed.  This includes nano, micro and macro encapsulation of cells, in-situ polymerization and implantable gels, micro and macroporous scaffolds in the delivery of bioactive molecules.  The course will also cover some scaffold materials.
