The Biomedical Devices and Implants Fabrication course will expose the field of devices fabrication from the biomedical engineering point of view. The value of application of devices to targeted drug delivery, efficacy of therapy and public health would be taught. Topics such as materials selection and design, degradability and non-degradability of implants, biocompatibility and testing will be taught.  Topics to be studied by the students include the material characterization and changes in the physiological environment both from the biomaterial and the physiological perspective.
