Wetlands Conference and Call for Abstracts

Members of the University community are hereby informed that the Call for Abstracts for the West African Wetlands Conference 2021 is now open! The conference with the theme WEST AFRICAN WETLANDS: SAFE-GUARDING BIODIVERSITY, DELIVERING WATER, ENERGY AND FOOD IN THE FACE OF A CHANGING CLIMATE will take place from February 1-2, 2021, in Accra, Ghana, to commemorate the World Wetland’s Day celebration.

 Abstracts should be in English only (not more than 300 words) and it should address a subject on one of the sub-themes of the Conference. Please note that the deadline for abstract submission is 31 December 2020.

The Wetlands Conference is organized by the Centre for African Wetlands (CAW) in partnership with Wildlife Division of the Forestry Commission, Wetlands International West Africa Office, the Wadden Sea Flyway Initiative (WSFI), Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability Studies (C3SS of the University of Ghana).
