NOTICE
REOPENING OF THE UNIVERSITY TO CONTINUING STUDENTS WHO WERE UNABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ONLINE TEACHING AND LEARNING PROGRAMME
In line with the announcement of the President of the Republic in respect of the completion of the 2019-2020 academic year for Public Universities, the Ministry of Education has approved the University of Ghana’s proposal for the return of continuing students of the University who were unable to participate in the online teaching and learning programme, to complete the second semester of 2019/2020.
The University is therefore making the necessary preparations to receive resident and non-resident continuing students who wish to return to campus at this time, to complete the academic year and wishes to inform affected students of the duration, as stated below:
Six weeks From 31st August, to 10th October, 2020:
Continuing students in this category, who wish to move back to campus, are advised that arrangements for their return to campus will be communicated soon.
Management would like to assure employees, students, parents, guardians and all stakeholders that the safety and well-being of all members of the community, is of utmost priority.
Members of the University community are advised to continue to adhere to the safety and precautionary measures outlined in University notices and the information on
COVID-19.
Meanwhile, the University Hospital will continue to provide general healthcare to all members of the University community.
