The University of Ghana, in collaboration with DrosAfrica, is organising a Workshop on the theme: Drosophila: A Simple, Yet Powerful Model for Biomedical Research from 11th to 13th October 2021.
The University community is cordially invited to participate in this Workshop at which the Ag. Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, will deliver opening remarks. Additionally, the Workshop offers the opportunity to engage with resource persons from a wide range of disciplines in the field of medical research including two Nobel Laureates in Physiology and Medicine: Professor Eric Wieschaus (Princeton, USA) and Professor Michael Rosbash (MA, USA).
