Dissemination Workshop: Technology-Mediated Student-Instructor Interactions

A workshop on the above theme will be held on December 15, 2016. The workshop will discuss the role information and communication technology (ICT) plays in ensuring effective teaching and learning. If you are teaching a post-graduate class and you are interested in incorporating ICT (including social media and course management system), you are encouraged to request to attend this workshop. The workshop will introduce you to how to initiate the use of WhatsApp and Sakai (a course management system) for your class. In view of limited seating, if you are keen on attending, please email Dr. John Boateng at jboat2009@gmail.com with the following information:

1.       In 60 words or less, describe the post-graduate course(s) you teach or will be teaching and indicate what kind of ICT you hope to use,

2.      Abridged curriculum vitae, and

3.      Your interest in assessment rubric use/development.

The workshop will also introduce participants to assessment rubric and teach instructors its role in examining student learning outcomes. This opportunity is on a first come first serve basis. I will contact selected participants with more details. Thank you!
