Covid-19 Vaccination Center at University of Ghana Hospital

Starting December 3, 2021 - Ending December 3, 2022 Expired

The University community is hereby informed that a COVID-19 Vaccination Center has been set up at the University of Ghana Hospital. The Centre is located under the pavilion in front of the Hospital Administration building and is open from Monday to Friday (except public holidays), from 8.30 a. m. to 2.00 p.m. daily.

The following are eligible to take the vaccine: 

  • Persons, 18 years and above who have never had a COVID-19 vaccine would receive the Moderna vaccine. 
  • Persons, 18 years and above, who received the first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine not less than four (4) weeks ago, and are awaiting the second dose of AstraZeneca. Clients in this category must show a valid Vaccination Card for the first dose.
  • Persons between 15 years and 18 years who have never had a COVID-19 vaccine would be administered with the Pfizer vaccine.

All eligible persons should come along with a valid ID card and a COVID-19 Vaccination Card (for those requiring a second dose).

With the emergence of new variants of COVID-19, and as the University moves towards the resumption of regular operations, all students and staff are encouraged to present themselves for vaccination and are to observe the COVID-19 prevention protocols at all times.
