The University of Ghana, School of Pharmacy is pleased to announce a special
2-Day Training Programme for Manufacturers of Herbal Products/Food Supplements
This programme is geared towards improving the safety and efficacy; quality and standardization of herbal products/food supplements manufactured in the country.
Date: June 2-3, 2016
Venue: University of Ghana, School of Pharmacy, Legon.
Time: 8am – 5pm daily
Topics to be treated are:
· Practical techniques in the evaluation of raw materials for plant-based natural product
· Road map to registration of Herbal Products
· Toxicological assessment and efficacy of natural products
· Microbial contaminations of Herbal Products
· Quality control method for herbal materials
