Research Interest

Research in Water Management:

o Leakage Management in Water Distribution Networks: estimation of leakage in developing country context, establishment of leakage estimation parameters, leakage detection modelling.

o Improving wastewater for irrigation: using slow sand and biochar (corn cobs and coconut coir) filtration systems to improve polluted surface water used for irrigation of urban farms. Design of filter parameters and cleaning mechanism. Modelling of cleaning mechanism.

o Solid waste management and public health: establishing the correlation between solid waste disposal methods and the incidences of malaria.
