SOIL 606: Soil-Plant-Water Relationship

In the course students are introduced to systems approach to the study of Soil-Plant-Water-Atmosphere continuum (SPAC). Additionally, it will enhance the ability of students to appreciate the processes of plant and development, transport laws, gas and radiation laws, fluxes of heat, gases and wind. The course will also focus on environmental factors affecting plant growth such as temperature, radiation, wind and water and the significance of water for plant growth.
