Electricity: Coulomb’s law, electric field, Gauss’s law, electric potential, current electricity – EMF, Kirchhoff’s laws, DC circuits. Magnetism: Magnetic field, Bio-Savart’s law, Ampere’s law. Induction: Faraday and Lenz’s law. AC Circuits: Reactance, Impedance, power factor, resonance. Introductory Modern Physics: Bohr’s atom, quantum theory of atom, electronic transitions, optical spectrum. Photoelectric effect.
