AREN 622: Solar Thermal Engineering

This course is designed to give students an understanding of the analysis and design of solar energy collection systems and how to model thermal energy storage devices. The use of solar energy for drying of agricultural produce will be discussed. The course will conclude by discussing the existing computer simulations on solar energy applications and how to use them.
