AREN 619: Systems Analysis And Postharvest Systems

The goal of this course is to equip students with the requisite skills to optimize systems and processes. The first half of the course deals with the use of mathematical modeling to design optimal and efficient systems and processes for the handling and processing of agricultural materials. The second half involves the use of operations management and improvement techniques to benchmark existing processes and systems to identify possible areas of continuous improvement.
