AREN 601: Research Methods in Engineering

This course is structured to enable students understand the engineering research process, development of research proposals, design of questionnaire, interviewing techniques and content analysis. The course will enrich students’ ability in research report writing, qualitative and quantitative research and measurement strategies. The course will also focus on inferential statistics, sources of data, data collection procedures, literature surveys, time series and cross-sectional data.
